Its not fun getting lost in the jungle. Looking at the map not helping either. Every tree looks the same, every rock look date same as well! So it does not help at all! So best having a rest while counting your steps. so thats what you got to do!

I think that's cool she's trying to read her map but does not notice the kaiju behind her. He seems really curious though.
